Mother of two

It has now been two whole weeks since Elle was born and let me tell you it is a different world at my house. I feel like a slacker in a way because I don't get a lot done around the house anymore. It is a little frustrating and I know that it is to be expected in the beginning but I still have a hard time letting everyone else do the jobs I normally do. I guess I should enjoy my break. Amber has really had her world turned upside down and won't let me out of her sight anymore, not even to go to the bathroom. I think she is afraid I will leave. It has been hard on both of us. I just hope that she will let others help her and play with her soon. She really loves to hold and kiss her baby sister. Elle is doing great, just getting bigger and chunkier. She is a good mellow baby. All in all things are going well.

You can keep up with new photos as they are posted by heading over to maxfieldkids.com and signing up for email notices (lower-left corner).

If you find the key to getting things done like you used to, please let me know. I think it only gets harder as they grow and then you have more than two. Sometimes I feel like a pick up the same mess ten times. I guess that is part of being a mother. Your kids are darling. Soon you will be in a routine, and life won't seem as crazy.

The picture you posted is so great. Amber and Elle are so darn cute together! Amber looks like a proud big sister. That first little while is hard trying to adjust to life with two and running/cleaning the house like you used to, but soon enough you'll get the hang of it!! Again, congratulations!

I love that picture! Amber looks like such a proud older sister! Elle has changed so much since her first pictures. Her cheeks are definitely getting bigger and I love it! I can't wait to meet her in June.

What cute little kiddos you have! If Amber ever wants to come over and play with Sydney she is welcome anytime, we can get out the pool and let them play in the water! I am thinking of filling the pool up tomorrow let me know if you are interested. Sydney still has a little runny nose and I really don't want to pass it on, but I think that she is almost done with it, I can't wait to come and visit baby Elle!

Your girls are too cute. I love that picture. I'll have to tell tom to enjoy our clean house while he can since it looks like that'll change once I have the baby. Hang in there with all the craziness =)
