Nathan's 3

Look at this big boy. He is so so excited that today is his birthday and that he is 3! He has been waiting to wear this shirt since I washed it and put it in his drawer last month. I am still a little in denial my little guy is 3 but at the same time he is so grown up. He is a handsome funny all boy kid. If you come by and hear growling and someone shouting "I shoot you" or "Arrrg, I have my tiny sword" Nathan must be home. We sure do love our little pirate, super hero, fireman, dragon around here and wouldn't know what to do without him. I will try and get more pictures up from his birthday later. Including his pirate ship cake! A few quick things about Nathan.
  • He likes dressing up and pretending.
  • Right now his favorite food is corndogs, wheat thins, and cheese breadsticks
  • Blue is his favorite color - with the occasional green or yellow
  • His currant favorite movie is "Ice Age 4" (go figure it has pirates in it)
  • He can't wait until the Fall when he can go to preschool
  • If there is music on he usually with get up and "shake his booty" around the room
  • He is already quite the ladies man and is hitting on older women (Young Women from church)
  • He gives great complement all the time (You're Awesome, you look like a Princess, you are so beautiful...)

Big Boy and Leaf Pile Fun

Mr. Nathan here has had a busy week or so. He moved up to his big boy bed and has been using the potty pretty regularly! He looks so big in his big boy bed. He has been so excited about it that he plays in his bed a lot during the day. I think it is great that he will stay in his bed still and call for me until I come and get him just like he did when he was in his crib. I kinda like that because then I can still give him good morning snuggles first thing in the mornings.

Here are also some pictures from the fun we had racking up all the leaves from our front yard. The kids had fun and I was just glad that they were excited to help me clean up all the leaves. I can't believe how many there were! These are just from the front - and if you look in the first picture you can see how many leaves are still on one of the trees. I just wanted to get as many off the lawn as I could before it gets nasty here - like today. The weather went from 65 degrees to 40 overnight and it is only going to get worse. I guess I should be happy we got to have a few extra days of fall during the first week on November!

I sure do love these little monkeys - even when they drive me bananas :)

Elle's Preschool graduation

Elle graduated (if you can really call it that - because she will be going to preschool again in the fall) last month from Emmanuel Preschool. They put on a little program with the theme being 'Under the Sea.' She did a very good job and we could hear her singing in the back where we were sitting. According to her teachers she is always very excited for singing time and always sings her heart out. It is fun to see her doing her own thing without her siblings around. Elle has really been missing her friends and teachers and wishes that she could still be going to her "old preschool." In the fall she will be going to the University of Idaho's preschool. Here are the few pictures I took (I am never going to trust the battery guide on my camera again) before my battery went dead.
